I went to the ter­race to meet every­body. “hi every­body.” I said.

“Nice to see you after such a long time.” Karan.

“It feels good to be back.”

“Raj we missed you a lot.” Sahil.

“well I missed you guys too. Any­thing new going on around here. What all have I missed. What have you folks been up to these days.”

“Well not much. Nobody was inter­ested in doing any­thing with­out you.” Deepak.

“Well I am sorry. Now that I am back we sure are going to have fun.” I said. “well guys lets play cricket.”

Then the girls left us guys alone and we started our game.

“So noth­ing new .” I asked.” Hey its my bat­ting.” I took the bat. Oh it felt so won­der­ful to hold the bat after such a long time. What a shot. Seem to get­ting my touch back.

“Well the only thing you missed is that now-​​a-​​days bugs have been buzzing around the Beauty queen.” Aakash.

“What does that mean?” I said. I didn’t under­stand a bit of it. Then Sahil pointed towards Karan. I started to get the picture.

“Oh the two have been spend­ing a lot of time together.” Manav.

“Is that so.” I understood.

“Last night they went to see a movie,” Deepak.

“Well look’s like it is get­ting hot up here.” I also joined in.

“Hey there is no such thing between us.” Karan try­ing to explain.

“What are we think­ing.” I said. Oh shit I got out. Now its Dhruv’s turn to bat. I repeated what I said.

“Well you guys are just too much.”

“Now what did we do.” Rohit.

“You go out with her. You drop her to col­lege. You take her to movies. Then you say what we are think­ing is wrong.” Deepak.

“Well I don’t go out with her.” Karan.

“Then it must be your ghost that we had seen that day.” Deepak.

“Well yes­ter­day morn­ing.” Aakash.

“That time she was not well and wanted a lift to the doctor’s clinic.”

The match got over and then we went over to where the girls were sitting.

“Hey you girls heard some­thing. Bugs have been buzzing around the beauty Queen.” I said.

“Yes we heard.” Khushi. Muskan had no clue as to what we were talk­ing about.

“Hey Muskan aren’t their bugs around.” Nisha.

“Yeah these Bugs have been bug­ging me for a long time.” Muskan said not under­stand­ing what we meant. We all laughed our hearts out.

“Do you need some kind of spray, to drive them off.” Puja.

“No.” Muskan.

“You like it don’t you.” Diya.

We couldn’t con­trol our laugh­ter. Karan just hoped that Muskan wouldn’t know any­thing about what we were talk­ing about. We were just enjoy­ing our­selves. Well after another hour Rohit and I left for the gym.

“So how does it feel to exer­cise after a long time.” Rohit.

“It feels great. I am lov­ing the pain.” I said pick­ing up dumbbells.

“Exer­cise is good for the body. It keeps your mind away from other things.”

“Yeah.”

“Raj I must tell you how lucky you are to have so many peo­ple who love you.”

“I know. Very few peo­ple get so much love in life.”

“You are lucky to have Diya. All this while when you did not talk to her she used to talk to me and kept telling me to talk to you. She would always ask about you ‘how is Raj? Is he okay? Is he eat­ing prop­erly?’ she cares about you a lot.”

“Yeah she is just wonderful.”

“I wish I had some­one like her.”

“Don’t worry you too will find one and she would be the best in the world.”

“Well next week its Nisha’s birth­day we need to do some­thing for her.”

“That reminds me the day before that is your birth­day. What are you plan­ning to do.”

“Well I am think­ing of giv­ing a small party at my place.”

“I have an idea let’s make it a dou­ble party. Nisha and you throw the party together.”

“We will have a dou­ble party but let this be a sur­prise for Nisha.”

“Okay.”

Rohit and I went home we told mom about the plan. She agreed to it. She told Nisha’s mom too and the two of them arranged every­thing. We invited every­body. The whole gang and their par­ents. I spe­cially went to invite Diya’s mom and dad. It was so nice of them to accept it. So the plan was set.
