Love happens…

There was little panic. Then a spotlight travelled all across the hall and fell over Nisha. Then Roses dropped all over her from above. Then a guy walked from the dark in front of her. He held out a rose and bent down on one of his knees. Then the announcer on the stage announced something.

The next song is for the rose queen of the evening. She is Miss Nisha. And the next song is for her dedicated to her by Mr Rohit who had bought all the remaining flowers. The song is “As long as you love me– by backstreet boys.” The announcer said and left the stage. The song started.

I then focused my attention on the guy bent down in front of Nisha. It was Rohit. Diya and I were very happy.

Rohit said to Nisha. “when the seniors asked and I proposed you the first time you slapped me. The second time when our friends told and I proposed you said no. Today I come on my behalf and I say it from the bottom of my heart.”

He held the rose out towards her.

Nisha, I love you.”

Nisha took the rose.

Rohit I love you too.”

Rohit got up and the two of them hugged each other. Then they kissed. Rohit then took out the locket and presented it to her. She wore it around her neck.

The locket hangs next to your heart. I have put a photo of mine in it. So that I always stay close to your heart.” Rohit.

They again hugged each other. Everybody clapped. Diya and I also clapped.
