Where to Write Your Name?

I thought of first writing your name on the sea-shore
But then I realized it shall be wiped away

Then I thought of writing your name on paper
But then I realized it will all fade away

Then I thought of forming your name with the clouds
But then I realized it will all be blown away

Then I thought of etching your name on the tree trunk
But then I realized it will one day wither away

Then I thought of engraving your name on a Rock
But then I realized it will one day erode away

Then I thought of embossing your name on gold
But then I realized it will in fire melt away

Then I thought of piercing it on my small heart
But then I realized it will one day pass away

Then I thought and I smiled
For I thought of writing your name on my soul
And I realized it shall be written for eternity

Her smile so sweet so innocent so bright

Lost she looked in the world of her dreams
We waited with patience to see her awaken

Came running the chariot of the sun

Asleep still the world it so seemed

Look! Look! she has risen from sleep
